Das '''Rennen von Locarno''' war ein [[Motorradsport|Motorradrennen]], welches zwischen 1937 und 1959 elfmal stattfand.
Locarno ist eine Stadt im italienischsprachigen Kanton Tessin.
Stadtrundfahrt entlang des Lago Maggiore (1,66 km). Zwei internationale Rennen 1937 und 1938 sowie von 1949 bis 1955, darunter auch nationale Rennen.
Die Veranstaltung von 1955 fand mehr als einen Monat nach der Katastrophe von Le Mans und vor dem Verbot von Rundstreckenrennen durch die Schweizer Behörden statt.
Eine für den 29. Juli 1956 geplante Veranstaltung wird abgesagt. Trotz des Verbots wurden 1957 neue Rennen organisiert.
Dann, 1959, fand dort ein Schweizer Grand Prix ausserhalb der Meisterschaft statt. Es wird das letzte internationale Rundstreckenrennen in der Schweiz sein.
Der Schweizer Sergio Baruscotti starb beim Rennen 1957.
